Hassan
Mohamed Abdel Razik
Hassan
is a graduate of Cairo University-Egyptology with his Diploma in
Guidance from the Faculty of Tourism & Hotel Management. He is
a member of Egyptian General Tourist Guides Syndicate(EGTGS) and
World Federation Tourist Guides Association (WFTGA). For 5
years he participated in the excavation of the Workers Cemetery
at Giza under the supervision of Dr. Zahi Hawass. Hassan has
participated in the Memphis American/Canadian Mission in field
excavation and joined Dr. Mark Lehner of Chicago University to
excavate the Workers Village on the Giza Plateau. He has also
participated in the Khafre’s Pyramid park excavation at Giza as
well as digs in the village of Nazlet El Samman which yielded
the basalt blocks, most probably belonging to the extension of
Khufu’s harbor.
His work
has included drawing plans, sections, and objects, writing
reports, transliterating of texts then translating them, as well
as the study of skeletal remains to determine sex, age and cause
of death. Hassan has guided groups and private visitors,
visiting archaeologists and other VIP's who come to visit the
excavation sites.
Ibrahim
Ali Selim
Ibrahim is also a Cairo University –
Egyptology graduate achieving an Honors Degree and also has his
Diploma in Guidance from the Faculty of Tourism & Hotel
Management. Ibrahim earned his Masters Degree in Egyptology
with his thesis on “Incense and Its Effects in the Ancient
Egyptian Ceremonies in Temples and Tombs, with Comparison with
Other Religions and Cultures.”
He is a
member of Egyptian General Tourist Guides Syndicate(EGTGS) and
World Federation Tourist Guides Association (WFTGA). Ibrahim
lectures on Egyptology in Culture Center Institutes and has
participated in excavations at Abusir and at Tuna El Gabal. He
is very experiences in cultural, adventure, safari and classical
touring.
Abdul Moneim
Abdul
is licensed in Egyptian Archaeology from Cairo University and
also holds a Diploma in Guidance from the Faculty of Tourism &
Hotel Management. He holds Guiding License #282.
Abdul joined the excavations in
Kom Ombo zone where this site was a settlement of priests dating
from the Greco-Roman period through the Coptic period. He
joined the American Mission of Minnesota University in the
Eastern Desert working on surveying, documenting, drawing and
photographing of the graffiti glyphs on stones throughout the
desert valleys. Abdul has vast experience guiding groups and
individuals of many nationalities to all historic sites in
Egypt.
Eman
Bahaa
Eman is a graduate of La Rose de Lisee,
Horeya Language School and also the Faculty of Tourism & Hotel
Management, and graduated from Helwan University. She holds
Guiding License #1611 Cairo. Eman is a member of Egyptian General Tourist Guides Syndicate(EGTGS) and World Federation Tourist Guides Association
(WFTGA).
Eman has
guided many archeological tours, and has worked with such world
noted Egyptologists as Dr. Zahi Hawass, Kent Weeks, Mark Lehner
and Robert K.Ritner. She has lectured at The University of
Pennsylvania, the Oriental Institute of Chicago University, and
has worked guiding inspection groups from the American, British
and Australian Embassies, from the American Research Center of
Southern California and AERA member, especially Bruce Ludwig and
Peter Norton. To quote from a recommendation letter written by
C. David Welch, U.S. Ambassador to Egypt: “We would recommend
